Ever wonder how to get a foot away from a nervous deer? Or watch a coyote up close? What about seeing an animal super close at its den site? Well, now it's ready to begin.
What is the Buggy Blaster?
An idea adopted from a new but very excitable gadget, the camera drone, the Buggy Blaster will be something great. It involves a cheap point-and-shoot HQ video/picture camera, an off-road RC vehicle, some zip ties, a case, and more protective tests.
This is a great idea and it will now become real as I take an orange Lumix camera with recording capabilities... and use it to get close to dangerous animals. Who knows? Maybe a moose will sniff the camera... and it'll be on tape! The off-road RC car must be high quality, and able to go far over rough terrain. Equipped with high-power batteries, it will be expected to take great videos... for purchase and entertainment.
What is the objective?
The main objective of this project is to get close to animals you wouldn't dare go 20 feet from... like bears, grumpy moose, and other animals. It's also to get animal studies in, specifically of coyotes. Plus, it serves an unusual footage from an unusual angle- ground-level, that is. Not only that, but we can get closer to dens, coyotes, moose, deer, and the like... all while not disturbing them near as much.
