As a short little blog post on- happy holiday- April Fool's Day, I am going to actually say something here. About, well, you'll see!
Yes, it's April Fools and that means spring should be here. Unfortunately, in Canada it's not. Still snowing, eh? Yeh, and it won't get better for a few days. Not only does that delay my horse-riding, but my spring photography as well- or at least what I had planned. Maybe it won't be so bad, though. I guess now's the time to see those 'wascally wabbits'.
But what am I leading to, here? I mean, I was going to talk about the future, but that kinda went down the drain. Let's switch sides and talk about something else, way more exciting. Like honestly, why'd you want to hear about jobs? Boring!
You see, what is the common "gadget-itis' that photographers seem to get- the buying addiction. They want all kinds of field gadgets, but really? Really. It's true, but no longer for me.
You see, it's really all an illusion and an unfair one too. I mean, I know photographers who hate buying. That's right.
I kid you not, they hate gadgets and will not have them at all. Give em, they garbage them. Maybe the rest of us can make use of gadgets without... buying so many and burning money.
But wait... who am I kidding? That's not true, really. We ain't burnin' money, just.. improvising. So maybe I'm exaggerating, but oh well. That's normal for the human race.
Let's just go on with our... er.... love of gadgets. I'm joking', it's all good and not really an addiction.
